What is Modern Maritime?
Modern Maritime is a trending summer fashion collection that our in-house designers curated to bring you the best features, styles, colours, and overall outfits for summer 2025 and beyond. Summer fashion trends this year have seen certain tropes, palettes, and shapes that are taking the limelight, and we took each one and brought them to life with this collection.
The term Modern Maritime is inspired by the themes of the collection. Some associations with the aesthetic of the collection are British coastlines and calming sea scenery. Think of Cornwall. It gives light, airy, beachy, and wellness vibes!
It’s important to understand that Modern Maritime is a collection based on summer fashion trends, not on one type of garment. It’s not associated with one material or one design, it’s a collection of different ranges brought together under one umbrella aesthetic. Unlike the Lightweight Collection, for example, which is a collection of Leggings, Flares, Shorts and Tanks that are all crafted from the same breathable fabrics.

Why Modern Maritime?
This collection came to us naturally. Spring Summer 2025 fashion trends were always leading us towards that idea of wellness, serenity and a sea-inspired aesthetic. And when it came to thinking about what women’s fashion was missing, it was a blend of youthful style mixed with that coastal aesthetic that we really felt needed its moment. We’re not talking blouses and lacy shorts – but cool, stylish fits that stay light and breezy.
We wanted to give women the chance to embrace casual styles in designs that are suited for summer. Keeping most-loved pieces like leggings in the equation, but making them fit the trend, as well as be suitable for the sunshine. It’s as simple as that! And building a whole collection from this trend means we can make it as easy as possible for our community of incredible women to build their summer capsules for 2025.
